Under the direction of the Early Education Administrator, this position is responsible for performing janitorial duties for Early Education areas, classrooms and workspaces.
Quality customer service will be provided to the client at all times.
Knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques is essential.

Janitorial Duties:
Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring.
Cleaning furniture and equipment.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
Restock cleaning and sanitation supplies in classrooms.
Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.
Dusting and cleaning Early Education spaces.
Cleaning window sills and windows.
Resetting the classroom for the following day.
Coordinate with other janitorial staff to maintain janitorial supplies and equipment.
Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.
Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals.
Wearing proper safety equipment at all times.
Communicating building and inventory needs with the Chief Operating Officer as needed.
Completing Early Education janitorial needs as they arise with swiftness and accuracy.
Minimum
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Good client/customer service skills.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Ability to work independently.
Basic knowledge of cleaning products or willing to learn.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands of the position include:
Ability to lift and move boxes and equipment of various weights; climb ladders as needed Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
Ability to climb, push, and pull.
Ability to lift and carry objects up to 45 pounds.
Work Environment:
To perform this job successfully an employee must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
