1K a year We are adding a CAD Drafter to the LUX team.
This is an entry level position with great growth opportunities.
Solidworks experience required.
Job Summary The CAD Drafter is responsible for assisting Design Engineers with CAD drafting support, and overall project support from new to existing product maintenance.
The ideal candidate will be able work directly with Design Engineering to create models and detailed drawings to meet specifications and standards required.
The CAD Drafter operates Computer Aided Design (CAD) computer system, including creating, updating and modifying prints, and performs manual documentation changes as needed.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Develop 3D models per assigned projects Develop detailed 2D prints per assigned projects Create ECNS for new and existing products Effectively manages schedule to complete assigned projects Create engineering specifications Assist in prototype builds and testing Assist with miscellaneous projects Create/modify CAD drawings for engineering projects Work closely with customers, suppliers, engineers, and manufacturing personnel.
Knowledge and Skills Self-directed and has strong work ethic Willingness to jump in and help with projects Attention to detail Problem solving skills Project management skills Solid Works and AutoCAD experience Basic knowledge of Microsoft products working with 3D Models and drawing with tolerances At least 1-2 years of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities preferred/ Education, Certificates & or Experience Associate Degree or completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting or related field, or equivalent experience Dekko is an equal opportunity employer.
