Assisting in optimization of daily routes for drivers doing Recycling, Garbage, and pick up and drop off routes (currently 15-20) Provide courteous and professional customer service over the phone Accurate data input and tracking Provide solutions and troubleshooting options when a customer pickup was missed Comply with all company policies and procedures as well as OSHA safety standards Contribute to a positive workplace environment Other duties, as assigned The ideal candidate will possess:
High school diploma or equivalent A minimum of one-year experience in a fast-paced customer service and scheduling/dispatch related position Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills A pleasant telephone voice/manner/grammar An upbeat and positive attitude Advanced computer and typing skills Experience with databases, MS Excel, and Google Docs Competence in understanding, interpreting, and communicating procedures, policies, information, ideas, and instructions The ability to efficiently prioritize competing demands and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and dedication to accuracy A familiarity with the Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan region NW Ohio An eligible candidate will use excellent communication skills and have a pleasant telephone voice/manner/grammar.
Basic computer skills are also required including Microsoft Excel experience.
A minimum of one year experience in a fast paced customer service related position or field is required as well as a high school diploma or the equivalent.
