Employees in this classification do not supervise otherrAlcohol and Drug Counselors. The Alcohol and Drug Professional Counselor, Provisionalrrepresents the Behavioral Health team in the Department of Juvenile Services facility providingrdirect clinical services to youth based on a comprehensive assessment & service plan.rr POSITION DUTIESrrr Provider individual, family and group therapeutic counseling to assigned youth,r including leading Seven Challenges groups, TAMAR-Y and other assigned groups tor address behavioral health issues including social adjustment as indicatedr through the development of the youth's Individual Treatment Service Planr (ITSP);rrrrr Provider Crisis and On-Call Services for Behavioral Health Emergencies both on and off-siter working in rotation with other licensed clinicians to provide emergencyr coverage in a 1-week duration, rotating schedule.rrrrr Workr as a leader, consultant, and/or member of a multidisciplinary healthcare teamr to assist the team's understanding of social and emotional factors underlyingr the juveniles' involvement with DJS and the implementation of the Behaviorr Management Program;rrrrr Maintainr all documentation & reports including therapy notes, admission &r transition reports, bio-psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, Courtr reports, and recommendations in the youth's health file and/or ASSIST, andr complete facility and operational and service delivery reports.rrrrrrr MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation:
A Master's or Doctorate degree in a health or human services counseling field from an accredited college or university approved by the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists or completion of a program of studies judged by the Board to be substantially equivalent in subject matter and training.r

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
