Accounting Coordinator

SEEKING CANDIDATES CURRENTLY LIVING IN NORTHEAST INDIANA
Reporting directly to the Credit Manager, you will work with Sales and Customer Service to reconcile and resolve customer deductions along with customer billing and cash posting responsibilities. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail while providing support to the Credit Manager and accounting department. You will work under tight deadlines while ensuring confidentiality at all times.
Process daily cash receipts and complete the daily cash reconciliation
Invoice customers' accounts daily
Process credit memos and post ship billings daily
Review customer payment deductions and work with Sales and Customer Service on resolutions
Maintain customer reimbursement projects and monthly reconciliation of reimbursement account
Monthly and quarterly billing of special charges
Monitor, review and reconcile customer accounts
Identify and recommend resolution to potential issues arising from AR
Place collection calls with necessary follow up and record information into the AR system
Maintenance of credit holds and ensure that all credit guidelines are adhered to
Communicate with Credit Manager regarding customer issues and collections
Strong Excel and Word skills needed
Must be able to backup Credit Manager
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will combine a minimum of 5 years of experience in AR functions with an Associate's degree in accounting.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
